He set the record staight and this clears one or two of the fuzzy areas which i could not resolve, but it is dissapointing news.

The history up to Tony Dickinson selling the car to Harry Humberstone is correct. Alan had a tough time sorting the front suspension and made several changes inc even air jacks (holes still in the tub).
It was raced at Brands Hatch with the Karman Ghia body and then written off at Lydden Hill where the tub T490 HU6 was trashed.
The car was rebuilt using another T 492 S2000 racer in S2000 trim, chassis number unkown.
This was in about 1988. Does this ring any bells??
The car was eventually sold to Autoquip in 2001.

I have notified Lola Heritage of HU6 T 490's fate and relinquishing my claim to HU6.
